Was planing on brewing tomorrow and realized I do not have any clean ale yeast but I do have some London Ale. Does anyone have any experience with this in an American IPA?

I love the London ale yeast (specifically 1028) in my beers. It doesn't give off the fruit or citrus flavor that a 1056 or 1272 does, but its a good yeast. I would use it!

I use the WLP013 in my brown ale and am considering trying it in an IPA/DIPA next week, so while I can't speak from experience, it is something I'm looking at.

Really happy w the results in my IPA so far, just sampled at secondary racking. Started to drop clear about a day after initial fermentation slowed.
