Hey everyone. I'm really hoping against hope that I'm severely paranoid, but I think that I have an infected batch on my hands.

Should I be dusting off my trumpet and playing taps for this batch and bucket?

Doesn't look like an infection to me... looks like dried/hardened kreusen and it will settle out and probably dissolve back into the beer over time...

Looks fine. Those are clumps of yeast. Some gentle agitation will drop them right out.

take a sample and taste it. The infections I have seen have been more white. CO2 smells a little sour by nature... so a taste will let you know...
my 2 cents

Wow, thanks a lot guys!

Now that my beer is fine, it just means that I am really paranoid.
Prescription? More beer.
