Hey guys,

Here are the ingredients that I have. If you have a recipe that requires little else or have an idea for most of what I already have, let'r rip:

3.2 kg light syrup malt
.5 kg amber dried malt
20g Perle
40g Liberty
30g Northern Brewer
30g Fuggles
15g Tettanger
Either Lager or Ale yeast

I am very open to ideas!
Thanks
SHAL

Ok,
g is for grams. There are 28 in an ounce.
kilograms are 2.2 pounds. So .5 KG is about a pound

I can buy grains. I listed what I now have. I am looking for recipes that would help me use a lot of the current ingredients
thanks
SHAL

Good ole "leftovers" beer. I've made some great and not so great beers with the leftovers from previous brews. From what I see you have the DME and LME to get you to about a 1.050 OG at about 4-5 SRM. Why don't you reach in the pantry and toss a little honey into it for a honey pale ale? Bitter with the Northern Brewer and have the Fuggle and Perle come through for flavor and aroma.

I like this idea about the Pale Ale.
So you suggest all the DME and LME and honey. How much honey?
Can you suggest the amount of hops?

For the honey go with about 0.2 kg or 8 oz...and yes, all the LME/DME. For the hops I would use Northern Brewer at 15 grams at 60 min and 30 min. Then 30 grams of Fuggle at knock out. Dry hop with your 20 grams of Perle and maybe 20 grams of the Liberty depending on how hoppy you like it. Cheers!

All of the extract,BAM!
Bitter with NB and late additions with Perle, sweet!
What are you AA% on the hops?

Here is an idea
all of the extract as stated, ale yeast.
All of the Northern Brewer @60
All of the Perle @20 and all of the Tettnanger @10
As I don't have the AA% the defaults on beercalculus gives us a beer looking yellow to gold, weighing in at OG1050/FG1012, alc:5.1% and around 33IBUs. Balanced yet hoppy enough light coloured pale ale.

Hey guys,
I've started brewing the honey ale.
I picked up 500g of honey malt and some cascade hops (2 ounces) b/c these seem to be relevant to this beer.
So... I need some help with my hop schedule to include the cascade.
Here again is a list of everything I have:
Northern Brewer 30 gr
Perle 20 gr
Liberty 40 gr
Cascade 60g
Tettnanger and Fuggles 15 gr each

Keep in mind the honey malt is now steeping so I need feedback now! MF now!
thanks:cross:

Keep in mind.... I like it hoppy! Very hoppy. I dry hopped my last pale ale with 2 ounces! It rocks:rockin:

Okay the brewing is done.
Here is the cobbled together recipe I used:
3.2 kg light malt extract
500 g medium DME
500g honey malt (milled)
30 g Northern Brewer at 60 min
20 g Perle and 10 g Cascade at 30 min
1 tsp Irish Moss at 20 min
20 g Cascade at 5 min
DRY HOP will be 30 g Cascade 30 g Liberty
