I was shopping around for the best price on apple juice today to make more apfelwein. I found that the ALDI had a special on apple juice and i got 5 gallons for $13.90.
I am not sure if all ALDI'S will have this special but i thought i would pass it on just in case.
 
Did you notice if ALDI had any apple juice in 1-gallon GLASS jars? I have my first batch of Apfelwein in the 3-gallon better bottle now, but I want to collect about 4 or 5 1-gallon jars that I can use to ferment this stuff in so I can try out some variations on ingredients and yeast choices without making a larger batch...
 
you can also just look for best choice apple juice in 1 gallon plastic #1 bottles. use the purple carboy cap
