So I'm leaving on vacation to the Dominican Republic on tuesday morning, and I'll be back sometime sunday night. I should be recieving some WLP203 Burton ale yeast In the mail on monday, and I was hoping to get it into a starter so that I could brew the next week when I came back. Does anybody know if it's fine to leave it unattended all week or if my plan will make my yeast somehow useless?

No, it won't be OK. :D
You could take a drive out on the Island, and I'll be happy to babysit it for you, but I can't guarantee that there will still be a starter when you return, but I might have a new batch of IPA. (I'm just missing the yeast). :rockin:
Seriously, I agree with the others. It should be fine.
