I dont know if I hit Pay dirt or alot of sherry.

I remodeled my house in 2008 and forgot to move a case of La Chouffe blonde into my new cellaring room.

Anybody ever age it beyond 5yrs or so?

OK, I'll be the first - open one, try it, and report back, please!

:)

Well I'm not overjoyed nor dissatisfied.

Still had lots of carbonation, taste was very good with the sweetness and spicyness you would expect from this beer.

But.
Underlying cardboard taste.

It wasnt light struck as it was in the case, and temp would have been a constant 65-70 degrees.

So there it is, lifespan about 6ish years.
