Does anyone have a good recipe for a good Raspberry flavored beer? I really like the Sam Adams Raspberry wheat..but it could use a bit more raspberry flavor.

Any good recipes would be great.

Lemme know

Dan

I made a pretty darn good raspbery wheat once, but I used real raspberries and it turned out a little more tart than i like

6.6 lbs munton's wheat extract
0.75 oz hallertauer at 45 min.
.25 oz hallertauer at 10 min.
safale wb06 made w/ starter

I stuffed a bunch of frozen raspberries into a secondary with it. I made sure to thaw out the raspberries first though. I think maybe just buying some raspberry extract would be better and adding it to your taste. This wheat recipe is great for making the raspberry beer though

I made AHS raspberry wheat a little while ago. Not my personal favorite (not much for flavored wheats though), but overall probably the most popular beer I have ever made.

With a fruit beer, In my exsperince the longer you wait the tartness will go away.

Did a Rasberry Blonde, 1/2 can rasberry puree in secondardy.. After 3 weeks really super tart.

at 6weeks the tartness started to go away. At allmost 3 months old It has a "slight" hint of rasberry taste and smell.

Hope this helps a bit

Just put to rest the last keg of my raspberry wheat with rye in it. It's a really crisp, refreshing brew. Find it in my recipes <-----
