General question from someone who doesn't quite know how a plate chiller is assembled - most I'm seeing are Stainless Steel / Copper Brazed. Does the copper contact the wort? Or is the fluid passage 100% SS?

Folks that have used aggressive cleansers have reported seeing blue-green effluent, so based on that I expect that wort does contact copper.

But some miniscule amount of copper in the wort is generally considered A Good Thing wrt yeast health, so I'm not sure there's grounds for concern...
Cheers!
