Mmm. San Diego. Drink it in, it always goes down smooth. Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means "a whale's vagina".

hate to rain on your parade san diego really isn't that great. besides having great beer on tap almost everywhere you go, the people are generally *****ey and the weather gets boring. lived there for 15 years and couldn't stand it anymore so I moved to san francisco and i don't plan on leaving. gotta love this fog and cold sunny weather

72 deg every day is just horrid

I had a German friend visit last summer. He spent a couple days in SF before he came down here. He didn't bring any warm clothes and froze is arse off Frisco. When he arrived in SoCal, I pulled out the old saw, "The coldest winter I ever had was a summer in San Francisco." To which he replied, "Mark Twain, right?"

Apparently he'd heard the phrase several times during his stay there.
