pecans as an adjunct to beer?... nut brown sort of thing... suggestions... thanks

want to do a nut brown, but with pecans. what do i do? how do i prepare the pecans for the mash???? or boil? help. tried some pecan beer down south this winter and liked it want to make some, but i'm new to brewing. help.
 
You need to get as much of the oil out of the pecans as possible. Either smash them into pecan butter, or buy some (preferably all-natural) pecan butter. Then follow the processes for removing the oil described in this thread, among several others describing peanut butter beers. The recipe database also has a few penaut butter beer recipes; you can use them as a guide for how much pecan butter to use:
