to brew or not to brew in aluminum kettles

I see plenty of aluminum turkey fryers but thought I read somwhere not to use an aluminum kettle. So should I avoid aluminum or not? If not is because of taste or is it poisonous?
 
+1 I found this thread before i bought my aluminum pot. Has worked well and I've had absolutely no problems.

Gawd, man this has been hashed, rehashed, and hashed again. Al is not poisonous or will it add crappy tastes. A report came out years ago that Al food contributed to"oldtimers" diease. It was since negated. Enjoy your AL pot.........:)
