I put in a couple bottles of a pale ale in the fridge. They were carbing for about 2 weeks at about 70 degrees. They were clear when I put them in the fridge. A day later they are cloudy. Why would that be, and does this clear up?

it will clear up once the beer gets warm again. Do a search for chill haze

Chill haze is the precipitation of proteins. It is mostly a cosmetic issue and will clear as the beer warms. It can be prevented by making sure to achieve a good hot break and by rapidly cooling the wort from the boiling point to room temperature. Clearing agents such as Irish Moss also help.

OK, thanks. I used Irish Moss in the batch I currently have fermenting, and I cooled the pots in the tub. Hopefully this will provide a better result. I will go put my other bottles in the fridge to let them finish conditioning.
