Does anyone know where I can get hops by the 1/2 lb. I am looking to get a variety of some hops for some future brews but I do not want to break the bank. I generally see them sold by the lb only

You should be able to order them in 1/2lb increments from freshops.com.

Freshops you can order by the oz, but there is a minimum order size.

I don't know if this guy ships to the US, but all his whole leaf (and pellet) varieties are $24 canadian/ lb ($3/ 2oz). Right now you get about 20 cents on the dollar (~$20/lb). I haven't dealt with him yet but plant to soon.
