CT hop growing

I want to start growing my own hops I live in CT and not sure where to begin. What would be the best variety to grow in my area and what time of year should I plant. All the sites I have found only have info on growing like south or out west more. Any info would be appreciated.

I am in Western New York and mine grow ok. and as soon as your sure it wont freeze you can get your Rhizomes in the ground. Just remember you wont get any or much cone yeild your first year.

Here. Just keep looking around at previous post from around this time last year and you should see a bunch of stuff that will be pretty good.
