Just got done making first lager. using an old popsicle freezer as a lagering chest. In order to average 50 degrees i have been putting in blocks of ice, one night I ran out and temp read high 50's so I turned the motor on and ummm fell asleep for a bit, temp went down to 10 degrees in cooler but don't know beer temp. five days later i am seeing some bubbles still but wondering what could have happened to the yeast at that temp??? Also Confused on the need to rack to secondary and cold condition or can you bottle and condition? cheers
