While I was at the craft beer store today at lunch the guy working (who is a friend) gave me a sample of an IPA he made with pure simcoe. It was delicious! I've decided after the porter I'm brewing next weekend I will be making an IPA.. I recently ordered the discount priced Hops bundle from Austin Homebrew, and quite a few varieties from Midwest as well...
 
+1 Abita Jockamo IPA. There's a Cajun restaurant in downtown Saint Louis called Riverbend, the chef's from Orleans and had been cooKing the style for 20+ years. Awesome food, and my first Abita.

BIIPA retired, on to a Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale.
