So I converted and AIPA recipe from grain to extract to gain a little time in the am. It is calling for 1.1 oz of Amber LME.
The smallest amount to purchase is 1.65#, I have a steeping grain in the process that is a Caramel Malt 40L which in itself is only 1.5 oz.
Do i buy the liquid and I have a food saver so i could re seal it but can't imagine that is going to make enough room to reseal.
Thoughts?
The effort to save time doesn't really out way the cost or wasted ingredients.
