I slowly simmered some brats in two bottles of Hacker-Pschorr Weisse Dark and quarter of an onion and some garlic powder on my gassers side burner.

I let this go for about 12 minutes or so, then put them onto a 500 deg grill for some sear and turn it down and crisped up the casings. I drained the onions out and put them on the buns and served with a bit of spicy brown mustard, yellow potato salad, and baked beans.
