so this sounds a little weird. my father is allergic to MSG (monosodium Glutamate) and had a reaction from one of my homebrews, (he narrowed it down to the only unknown product of the day). he thinks that brewers yeast has MSG as a flavor enhancer??

never heard of it. please let me know!!

No MSG in yeast.

He could have had a reaction to live yeast which he may never have been exposed to or is just not use to.

he will get rashes on his legs and back when he comes in contact with MSG. it isn't a gastro-intestinal thing. and he had this reaction after having a Lefse Blond from one of the kits at NB.
