I just opened my first bottle of my first batch. A Brewer's Best Kölsch. It's a bit yeasty, but it's only been in the bottle a week. It has carbonated nicely though (no head retention yet) and generally it's a nice tasting brew. My second batch is already in my Primary, Midnight IPA.

Good luck getting any head to slick around on that kit. I brewed it as my second batch ever and the head is nonexistant. It carbed very nice and tasted pretty awesome...just no head
 
There is a great satisfaction drinking the first beer you made, congrats it only gets better, I am on my fifth batch.
