Hello,

I am in the process of setting up my kegging system, and I will be using picnic taps at first. When trying to balance this type of system, what do I use for the height of the tap from the center of the keg? Since the CO2 is not needed to push the beer against gravity above the keg, I would assume 0. I wast to use one of those equations for balancing out the line with the volumes of Co2, beer line length, etc, but I don't know what number to use for the height value. Thanks!

Jason

probably 0-12"

for what its worth, my beer is about 42F, my psi is about 10-12, and I use 8 feet of line to balance my system.

my mead keg only has a 6ft line, and the mead rockets out of the keg, losing some carbonation. 2 feet of line makes a huge difference.
