Mojito Wine Finished!!!

WOW...way too good.

Finished the Twisted Mist kit this weekend. ABV tested to 14% (1.095 to .985).
Cleared to crystal in 10 days after a really good degassing. Added the F pack of flavoring and bottled. Ended up at exactly 30 bottles. Reserved one for myself.

After cleaning up all of the sticky mess, and it is sticky, I poured a tall glassful over ice and sat down to taste. That glass lasted about 5 minutes, the second about 15 minutes, the third...by then, I didn't care anymore.

Its really good, does have a "rum" overtone, lime backing, and the mint is strong. Very strong.

My wife went to a pool party and took a bottle. It didn't last long either.

Looks like 30 bottles is not going to be around long.

This sounds like a great idea. Any idea what was in the kit exactly?

Sounds exactly like what I've been wanting to make when my skeeter pee starts getting old.

yum, sounds great. I have made a couple of the twisted mist margarita..delish!! I think I will try that one too

Don't really care, but it seems to be a Niagara style white base with a flavoring pack.

I have made both twistd mist kits and they seem REALLY sweet to me.

Yep, but a real Mojito is made with pure cane sugar and has a stick of cane in it. They are very sweet.
