I added pectinase to my pasteurized cider (almost two weeks) to clear it and haven't seen any results. I was curious to see if the enzyme had any off flavors so I tasted it. What I tasted seemed the same as table sugar. Is my LHBS ripping me off or does your pectic enzyme taste this way?

And in 24 hours your stomach acid will be clear. :p

It might be that it's not a pectic hase, just sediment in suspension.
Get some finings and give it a dose of that. Finings usually comes as a 2 part ingredient that applys both positive and negatively chaged particles to attach to your sediment and make it drop.

Hope this helps.
