Hi all. Just made my second batch of plain mead. This time I added yeast nutrient all at once rather than over a period. It has a very strong sulphur smell and Im wondering if this is normal and will disappear, or have I ruined my batch. Any replies will be appreciated

Did you add sulfite instead of nutrient, getting them mixed up? Have you added any sulfite before you added your nutrient? Are you smelling amonia from the nutrient and thinking its sulfur? A little more info---

Whatever it is, aerate and degass a lot as this will help the smell dissipate.
