Has anyone ever heard of or used wyeast labs #2107 ? Apparently its good for someone making an oktoberfest style ale. If anyone know how or where to get it I'd appreciate a nudge in the right direction.

Forgive me for wanting to make an oktoberfest style ale but I have limited means.

From what I could find searching google it looks like 2107 is/was a kolsch strain. You might want to email WYeast and find out what became of it. Maybe it was an old private collction strain or something that got a name/number change.

From BT - Oktoberfest Alternatives
We have a Klsch yeast, #2107, that produces a more lagerlike character than any other ale yeast I know. It's highly attenuating, and flocculation is good. Ester production is extremely low, even in high-gravity beers, and there is actually some sulfur production. It gives a very rich malt character. It's a very unusual ale yeast and recommended for this style."
