Your closest club is going to be the Motor City Mashers. They meet out of Adventures in Homebrewing in Taylor... A quick look at their Facebook page tells me their next meeting is Friday September, 6th 7pm at Adventures in Homebrewing Taylor.

Plymouth (where I live) has a club. Son's of liberty, meets at the liberty st brewery in plymouth. First monday of the month, and happen to be having a big gathering this saturday for AHA teach day. PM if interested, should be a good time.
