Does anyone know which current line/brand of compact refrigerators are good for top-side kegerator conversions. I looked around for some instructions , etc, but they all seem to be for models that aren't around any more (including that danby bbl400 or something like that).

I am about to start a build as well, cant decide between freezer or fridge. My local Costco has a Danby without a freezer for 145, I havent gone to see what it can fit yet, but it was either a 4.3, 4.4, or 4.6 Cu ft, I was thinking it could do 2 5 gallons on the floor, and maybe a 2.5-3 gallon on the hump. From what I have read Danbys dont have any cooling lines on the top, so that would def. be the way to go.

Thanks - I'll check that out. Is it all Danby's that don't have the cooling lines on the top or just the 440BL model ?
