I have some 3/4" soft copper left over from a project at home. Is that to big to make a chiller from if I can get it coiled to the right diameter?
 
It's like your penis. It is never big enough.

IMO the larger the pipe the more surface contact w/ the wort. Thus the faster the cooling.

You have the girth but do you have the length is the question? ;)
 
thanks, was hoping i could use it. i just have to figure out how to get it bent. i love your signature. that is what they told me when i started my plumber apprenticeship but they also said don't chew your fingernails.
 
I coiled mine around a peice of 6" PVC I had layin around. I had my wife hold the coil while I bent it.

My hose thread adapters were 1/2 MIP x 3/4 Male hose. The inside of the MIP turned out to be female sweat:rockin: So I was able to just solder that beast right on it.
