Has anyone attempted priming with honey ? I may attempt with my next batch using a half cup diluted and boiled with a cup of water. Does this sound worthy of a shot ? Any advice or comments are appreciated.

No problem priming with honey. Honey is about 95% fermentable which puts it up there with most simple sugars. I'm not sure you'd get any lingering honey taste by doing this, but I've never tried it myself so I can't say for sure.

In my first brewing life about 15-20 years ago one of the best batches I made was primed with honey. I have a friend who still mentions that brew from time to time. I can't begin to remember what it was other than the honey primer though.
