To make everything flow better and to ease cleanup I put a mesh grain bag over the manifold in the bottom of the tun.

I'm not sure what the best practice is for PVC glue. I used aquarium silicone for my bulkhead ball valve sealant. http://www.dap.com/pro/product_details.aspx?BrandID=67&SubcatID=10 Which I found thanks to tarponteaser posting his info - https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f170/food-grade-silicone-sealant-brew-stuff-265473/ (I believe the internal plastic of the cooler is polyurethane. Per the Q: in the video.)
