Hey guys - I've been searching for a bit, and am having a little trouble finding the answer I'm looking for...

I'm getting ready to brew a batch of Edwort's Wounded Knee IPA and am trying to get the ingredients into Beer Alchemy. The recipe calls for toasted 2-row, so that's what I'm doing...

2# 2-row, 30 min @ 350degF, turning @ 10 and 20 min. (based on Palmer's chart...)

But the question is - to add this as an ingredient in BA is easy, but what should I put for color?? is it basically still 2-row?? I would assume it's a higher Lovibond, being toasted, but I'm not sure??

(or maybe someone has a chart that shows modified Lovibond or something??)

FWIW (if anything), I just did the 20 minute turn and it's noticeably, but not significantly darker than where I started...

Thanks in advance!!!

There's a chart in brewers companion, I'll look it up tonight. Maybe even scan the chart and email or justpost it.

That'd be great if you could - Thanks.

There's a chart in the online How To Brew, but it only speaks to the flavors imparted. I'd just assume be accurate to the Lovibond too if I can.

Well according to Mosher's chart 30min @ 350f should put you at "deep amber" @ about 75 loviblond. Sounds a little dark but that's what the book says.
