Found a bottle of Widmer Brothers Prickly Pear Braggot at my local grocery today. REALLY like this, and SWMBO really likes it too (and she doesn't like most beer).
Can someone help with a clone of this?
Googling suggests around 9pounds of malt to mash with around 1 pound of specialty grain (maybe Crystal 40), 1 oz of hops (? type) and 5-9 pounds of honey.
I think (hope) we can find some prickly pear fruit, but the flavor from that is pretty minimal in the braggot we had.
