I've done very little research on this idea, so bear with me. This idea just came to me. Anybody ever try to convert an old side by side fridge/freezer to a kegerator and fridge/fermentation chamber? We're remodeling our kitchen this summer so soon I will have a free fridge to work with.
Is it possible to control the temp of each side independently? Looking at the freezer side it is about 9-3/4 wide and could fit a couple cornys deep. I could then use the fridge as a fermentation chamber or just use the extra space to store some beer.
What do you think? Could this work?
