would it make a differance if I siphoned all my beer into my bottling bucket and then stirred in the priming sugar? I have a 3 gallon carboy that is filled up to the neck and I know its a little more than 3 gallons. I am pretty sure its 3.5 gallons, so I was just gonna go with 1oz priming sugar per gallon. Is there really much differance whether I add 3oz priming sugar(corn sugar) or 3.5oz?

Well what I do is boil the priming sugar and cool it. Then I dump it in the bottling bucket. When you siphon your beer in the bucket the siphone itself will mix the solution up so you dont have to rix areation.

I dont think you will have bottle bombs if you go with 3.5 oz. Especially if you know that you are somewhere over 3 gallons. I would add 3.5 oz priming sugar then the beer.
