I have all of my bulk grains in HD Homer Buckets. I do not have A/C in the house and I want to know what temps are too warm for un milled grain? I can store it in the basement but I tend to have some visitors ( spiders...etc). They are stored in a closet out of direct sunlight

That's a great question! I store mine in the basement, in big rubbermaid containers. I've always heard to keep them "cool and dry" but never a definitive on what exactly would be the best temperature. My basement is definitely not dry, but I've never had an issue with mold so it seems ok so far.

I have central air, but I keep mine in my walk in closet. MY side doesnt have much in the way of clothing, but about 20 types of malt.

My wife has clothing on her side.
