I'm considering what to do for my third home brewed batch. So far I've done two relatively simple, partial grain extract kits from Northern Brewer, a maple nut and an XPA. I want to do something a little more complicated and involved next and I'm wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a logical next step. I love pretty much everything and that's part of the problem I'm having a hard time deciding what to do!

I would recommend deciding on a type of beer and then picking one of the various recipes available on this site. If its all grain, figure out your own conversion. Dont be afraid to try an experimental 1/2 batch. Maybe think ahead to an event or holiday for a brew theme. For example, the Thunderstruck Pumpkin Ale is a popular choice of late ahead of fall.
