I have been looking at some cheap no preservative apple juices from the supermarket. How do additives such as citric acid, and sugars, And being from concentrate vs straight juice effect the final product?

Elfmaze - If you like the juice, your like the cider in my opinion.
Usually I buy 5 gallons of tree top or whatever is cheapest and add a few concentrates to them to bump up the apple flavor. It really depends on your taste and I am not saying it is as good as freshly pressed pulp that you made yourself. (Nothing seems to be as good, I think it is matter of the work invested into it).

well got the fresh press stuff coming from Vermont in a week or so here. but it is nice to have a year round supply. not to mention not 6 bux a gallon
