Using Lacto D.

For those of you whom use or have used Lactobacillus, do I need to worry about contaminating my equipment? I am using a better bottle to ferment in, but what about racking canes and tubing? Should I use a separate bottling bucket?

I think it is like 50/50 for anything that touches plastic. I am on the 50% that use dedicated plastic items.
