I made a rye and had some mishaps with the mini-mash in which a some grain dust, etc. got into my wort. Well after 3 weeks in my primary I moved to a secondary and noticed there is still a lot of particles floating.

Now the secondary seems to be helping but now I'm wondering if the following would help:

Boil a nylon mesh brew bag and then attach it to the end of my syphon tube so that when I transfer from secondary to bottling bucket it would help filter.

Comments?

Yes, that would help. Many people do just that after dryhopping. It will catch a lot of the hop/grain particles from going into the bottling bucket. Just be sure to sanitize well.
