I just picked up a stout faucet on eBay and have a few questions.

1. I know I need to use a beer gas mixture. What type of tank beer gas does this come in; can I use a co2 tank?

2. What pressure should I set my regulator at when serving?

3 What is the best way to carbonate my beer?

Any insight would be appreciated.

1. Most of the time Beer Gas comes in a N2 tank but sometimes people can be talked into putting it in a CO2 tank.

2. about 30psi but it depends on the length of beer line and your faucet.

3. Personally I would carb. with co2 at a low pressure and then switch over to beer gas to serve.

And for the tank you should call around before you buy anything. It can be difficult to find people to fill them and they may have their own particular rules about the tank and then what kind of valve they need. Some places might swap them out also which might be easier.
