Looking for suggestions for aroma hops for an Octoberfest that I plan on brewing soon. I bought a kit that comes with Liberty hops for boiling, but want to buy separate hops for aroma. Any suggestions on some nice smelling hops for an Octoberfest?

I'd just say use a German noble hop.

I know it is not a noble hop, but I recently used Spalt Select in an Oktoberfest and I like it a lot!

I thought I read somewhere that the 4 "noble" hops were hallertau, tettnang, Saaz, and spalt. I think today, that there are some genetic hybrids of these named closely to those original names. I'm not an expert but, I thought spalt was a noble variety. I would dare guess that spalt select, spalter, and such names are also noble. I think -er is a German suffix, that denotes an origin, Munich -> Municher, as is a person from Munich. Anyhow.
