Went to hook up a line to sample an IPA last night, and the plastic pin on the liquid out disconnect was bent. Pushed it down on, wouldnt lock and just sprayed beer all over my face and fridge.

I think the bent pin was the problem for it not locking on and instead giving me a face full of beer. Could it have been somethin else?

Not likely, it was most certainly the pin... I had a similar incident where I had a hef flowing out of mine. It was yellow enough that it looked like my keg was pissing all over the inside of my kegerator.... but smelled soooo much better :)

I realized my dumb ass put that plastic pin in backwards after i cleaned it.

Tried another liquid disconnect that was put together correctly and the thing went on fine.
