I bought a temp probe and the colors are two white wires and one red one. I'm wiring my td4 mypin pid. Most of what I've found has been related to two red wires and 1 white wire. This is where I get confused. Any input? Oh yeah, the two white wires are labeled B and the red wire is labeled A.

A three-wire RTD has two wires in parallel to one side of the resistor and the other to the other side of the resistor. I imagine the two whites go to one side and the red the other. You can check with an OHM meter if you have one.

If your TD4 is the same as mine you would therefore wire the whites to terminals 6 & 8 and the red to 7. Hope this helps.

I guess I'm confused because all the post I see says there is two reds and 1 white

Alright. On to the next question. Does it matter what type of wire I use to jump 8&9?
