I bought a temp probe and the colors are two white wires and one red one. I'm wiring my td4 mypin pid. Most of what I've found has been related to two red wires and 1 white wire. This is where I get confused. Any input? Oh yeah, the two white wires are labeled B and the red wire is labeled A.

A three-wire RTD has two wires in parallel to one side of the resistor and the other to the other side of the resistor. I imagine the two whites go to one side and the red the other. You can check with an OHM meter if you have one.
If your TD4 is the same as mine you would therefore wire the whites to terminals 6 & 8 and the red to 7. Hope this helps.

Based on that wiring diagram, it looks like B goes to 7 & 10 and A goes to 8 & 9.
no problem with being confused, that color scheme does not match the standards for IEC, DIN, VDE, etc.

Not likely, the current is minimal, anything you have on hand should be fine.
