One of my freinds asked me to brew her an Irish red, the catch is she wants it done by St. Patty's day. While not impossible, I am not sure on the best way to make this happen. I plan on getting a kit from my LHBS tomorrow, and other than that I plan on over pitching some Yeasties.
Advice?
Thanks

Keep the gravity around 45 and a healthy dose of 1056? Very doable especially if you are kegging and force carbing. You will cut it close in the bottle.

Do it tomorrow for 16 days total. Use us-05 yeast and 1.040 OG. Bottle on day 6. LOL:eek:

Shake the hell out of the carboy. 70 degrees

70* in upstate NY isn't going to be easy. But I think I can make it happen.
