I'm planning on doing my first extract brew with some grain ive done 3 with the kit. so my question is for the little bit of grain ill be using is there a way i can grind it without a grain mill?
thanks for any input!

You can also run them through a blender. Since you aren't lautering through the grain bed it doesn't really matter if the husks are ripped apart (which they will be by the blender.)

I find that 300g at a time for 15 seconds or so does a good job with my grains (I'm actually using my blender to crush my grains for all grain BIAB beers while I wait to get a mill. Since the bag mostly takes the place of the grain bed for lautering purposes it still works fine, even with 4kg or more of grain.)
