I'm looking for a reasonably priced water filter that doesn't take days to work. I've brewed with both spring water and tap water that I either boiled, left out all night or used campden tablets.
My local water board says I should be fine with tap water...in fact, the person I spoke to at the water board brews himself and uses tap water.
But, for a few bucks, I'd like to get a filter.
