Growler tap

Anyone ever use a growler tap for handled 2 liter swing-top growlers like this one:


I believe it works simply by pumping air into the bottle. I'm not thinking of using it to keep the beer fresh and carbonated, like a real CO2 system. I'm more thinking of it as just a novelty when I bring a growler of my homebrew to a party. Sure, I could just pour it into glasses, but how cool would it be to dispense it from a tap! Sort of pricey, but my wife asked if I'd like this for my birthday.

looks pretty sweet. I would like to hear how those work. That'd be great to bring my homebrew to family.

One of my friends has one and she loves it. It really is attractive, too.

I think it's kind of a PITA, though. I remember thinking, why doesn't she take that damn thing off so I can pour myself a beer?
