Was checking on my inaugural batch of mead. I caught one of the orange peels mid-fall. Another day or so and I will take my very first taste of mead! Of course it will be a 2 month old taste where I made the mistake of peeling the rind away from the oranges, so I expect it to be pithy and caustic for lack of aging...BUT STILL. I'm excited!!
