Hey all, I have a recipe here and it calls for 4oz 40L crystal malt and 2oz of melanoidin malt= 6oz of grain. It proceeds to say, crack grains and mix this way; 1 lb grain per 1 1/2 qts water,,,,,, does this sound like enough grain? What would my water for steeping have to be??? thanks much

bah hit enter by accident..

11 AAU bitter hops cenntennial amarillo boil 60 min
1/2 oz cascade flav
1/2 oz cascade aroma
1/2 oz cascade aroma dry hop 1-2 weeks

ProMash sayes that is good for the SNPA clone OG... run with it.

Magnum/Perle for bittering, cascade for finishing. I just made one with Chinook for bittering as thats all I could get at LHBS on brew day. It'll still taste fine.
