Murphy's Irish Stout Float

I was at the local pub and had them make me a Murphy's float, I had them pour me a pint of the ultra thick irish stout and then put a nice big scoop of ice cream on top. I cant even begin to tell you how good it was. The vanilla ice cream melted and added to the flavor of the beer, and the hops and malt of the beer complimented the sweet icecream like you would not believe. If you have never done this before I think you should definitely go do it. For those of you who don't have Murphy's Guinness is essentially the same thing.

i've contemplated doing that before with stouts but never thought it would turn out well. i'll have to give it a shot.
